He remembered the crushed corpses in the streets.Subgenre of horror A drawing of Cthulhu, the central cosmic entity in Lovecraft's seminal short story, " The Call of Cthulhu", first published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1928. The highwayman noticed, finally, that it wasn’t fire’s glisten on the horse’s black pelt as he initially thought – the beast’s legs were chest-deep covered in drying blood. “If you’re not with the Light, be condemned by it! You sick, unholy vermin! Stand in my way and I will smite you all down!” “Silence, blaggard!” the crusader roared, spurring his mount. Why was it always the bloodsuckers that got under his skin…? Oh, how he hated beasts of war, be those mangled mushroom-infested dog corpses (where would he meet those monstrosities even…?) or enormous war horses! Or mosquitoes. He needed to think! “If I fancied blind idiocy, I’d believe in ‘at, but ’ve ye gone delusional?” “Snap out of it, Rey!” Dismas snarled, backing away. Wasn’t the horse supposed to be red, if he remembered that passage correctly…? Wait, why would someone like him knew some religious bullshit enough to recognize it at a glance…? “Justice and honor guide my hand in lands of those godless vermin!” Oily scarlet light dancing on the bascinet and glittering, gold-edged pauldrons didn’t help either.

Whatever light the knight deemed himself as, it sure looked like it took a hard swirl in a hellish direction. “I am the Light incarnate!” the crusader bellowed, long sword raised, and his horse bared its teeth as if a rabid dog, eyes gleaming crimson amidst the fires. So here, have an illustration for Ch3 “ And a great sword was given to him” since it’s not often i see Rey depicted during his worst years or giving into his worst zelaous tendencies, and i think should be addressed >:}

…and another, a red horse, went out and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from Earth, and that men would slay one another įrankly, this had been gathering dust in my WIP folder for ages now, and finally, i had enough courage and music to finish it off
